Project
overview
Innovate and renovate
The previous version was built in 2012 and had poor visual layouts and styling elements. The user interface, spacing, color scheme, typography and symbiotics were all in a desperate need of revamp. My expertise in user interface design and the use of a CMS to store and process data were key to creating a user-friendly and efficient website that meets the needs of the diocese and its community.

Final Website:
Reimagining stories , reinventing the ancient
During my time with the Catholic Communication Center I worked on redesigning the website for The Catholic Diocese of Nashik. I worked towards introducing a modern theme, nuanced style and captivating elements.

Content Manager System
I set up the CMS to store and process data, ensuring that all information, such as event details, announcements, and parish information, could be easily updated by the diocese staff. The CMS allowed for seamless content updates and streamlined the workflow for managing the website.

Visual layout
Inspiration
My goal was to introduce a nuanced style and modern theme that would resonate with the community while maintaining the site's spiritual essence.
Theme and Typography
I selected a modern theme that reflected the diocese's identity and mission. The color palette and fonts were chosen to evoke a sense of warmth and comradery.

Using CMS to store data
A major part of the data on the previous version of the website needed to be downloaded and reused and also updated with ease when required, so i made use of the CMS to transfer data of the Parishes, Institutions, Personnel, Priests etc.

Building the prototype layout
Building upon the original design, i played around with the fonts and some of the semiotic elements of like the home page.
I worked on a few prototypes, before coming to the final design which blended minimal design with added depth of detail.

Final design
After working on one rough iteration i started making the final design, wherein i preserved the original design by maintaining fonts and color scheme but adding new elements like easier navigation and simpler interfaces to provide a comfortable UI.
